Today is April 15, 2015 and good time to go a a trip. I am leaving today to meet good friends in Amsterdam and then a bike ride through the tulips and to Brugges. From there to London for a couple of days before home.
The players on this trip are:
Julie Wooley, Ellen Silvers, Susie Rudd, Karen Wing and Susan Saturday, plus me. We all are meeting in Amsterdam tomorrow for a little touring of the city and resting up before the grand bike ride, which should be a hoot!! Longest I have ever been is from Aspen to Woody Creek ( for a margarita), then to Basalt to Roaring fork Club for lunch and wine and once to Carbondate. Hey, it was all downhill and now I am doing a 5 day bike ride averages miles 25-to 30 a day, but that is okay because there is a van following us. Thank the Good Lord!!
We are in Amsterdam and we have been at the Ruks Museum, the flower market and general walking around. All of this is very close to the Waldrof where we are staying. The weather is coolish with clouds but thank goodness it was not raining.
We are getting ready to ride on Sunday!
