Last Day in Sydney
It is Saturday morning now and this is the weather! We are scheduled to climb that BRIDGE!!!!! today at noon- I don't think this is going to happen in my lifetime. Julie hasn't knocked me off yet ( even though I am a touch slower than her on the hikes, but I finally get there), but I don't care if they tie you up so you don't do a Tarzan swing over the side. I am thinking a stroll through the ROCKS- an old area of Sydney with an umbrella.
We had to go back downtown to buy a weatherproof jacket for Julie and then off to the ROCKS! It was fun and being a Saturday they had a mini farmers market, people selling their wares and food stalls. We bought more chocolate, honeycombs and singing bowls. More crap to take home, but lots of fun.
We had secured tickets tonight for "The Magic Flute" at the Opera House and boy, was it ever wonderful. I didn't realize that Julie had never been to an opera before and what a way to go for your first one. The cast was wonderful and it got rave reviews not only from us but the Sydney press.

During lunch my phone rings and lo and behold our flights has been delayed to Lax and I was lucky enough to get booked on a later flight flight to Houston. I was not looking forward to spending the night in LA and going home on Monday.
What a special night this was and our last night in Sydney!!
