Blog is still in Wellington

Julie and I are still in Wellington( the blog) walking through town with Fiona. We have done coffee, gelato, and the art.  Now we are off to hand done chocolates-( if you haven't figured out yet, we are doing the best of the best in Wellington and all of New Zealand.) We are no way close to lunch, yet!!
Next up CHOCOLATE!!!  This place is in an old alley way that is having a revision !! Next door is the cookie and bakery store!

We have eaten so much so far and we are now on the way to the gourmet grocery store, where Fiona has had them prepare a platter of cheeses, crackers, jellies and fruit for us to taste.

Oh yeah, and we haven't had lunch yet.  Thank God this is a walking tour!!!

We are now off for lunch at  Logan Brown, which is in a old bank building.  Listed as one of the best in all of New Zealand!! ( well, hello!) We started off with Paua ( Abalone) ravioli's with coriander, basil and lime beure blanc, then we shared Zucchini and green onion fritters, grass fed beef Bavette with black bean hash roasted monkfish with pickles eggplant, to finish a lemongrass panna cotta with plam sugar plums and anise meringue!!

Of course, we had the appropriate wines with each course.

Coffees and teas and then to the top of Wellington to see the view, which is outstanding.

We are now back to the ship and wait until you hear what we did then--

Off to dinner with Frank and Christinia, the bridge directors, yes, cards!! What a hoot.  They are from England.

Tomorrow we go to Picton and we are walking!!
